1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Filmit AI, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.

2. Use of the App

Filmit AI allows you to generate, edit, and customize cinematic-style video content using AI technology. By using the app, you confirm that:

You own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to use, upload, and edit any images, videos, or other content you submit;
You will not use Filmit AI to upload, generate, or distribute any illegal, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise prohibited content;
You will not use the app to impersonate others or violate any applicable laws or third-party rights, including intellectual property rights.

3. User Content

You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights to the content (including images, videos, and text prompts) that you upload or generate using Filmit AI.

By using the app, you grant Filmit AI a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the app and its AI-powered features.
This license does not grant us the right to sell, redistribute, or publicly exploit your content outside the scope of the service.

4. Facial Data Collection and Use

4.1 What Face Data Does Filmit AI Collect?

Filmit AI may process facial features contained in photos or videos that you voluntarily upload when using features such as photo-to-video generation, subject reference, or AI dialogue with lip synchronization.

The facial data processed may include visual facial characteristics such as facial landmarks, mouth movement, eye position, and expression-related features.
Filmit AI does not collect biometric identifiers used for personal identification, nor does it attempt to identify or verify a user’s real-world identity.

4.2 Purpose of Facial Data Processing

Facial data is processed solely for the following purposes:

Generating animated video content from photos or videos;

Enabling natural lip synchronization for AI-generated dialogue;

Matching facial expressions and head movements with generated speech;

Maintaining visual consistency of subjects within a generated video.

Facial data is not used for user identification, authentication, advertising, profiling, or tracking, and is not used to build facial recognition databases.

4.3 Sharing of Facial Data and Storage

Filmit AI may use secure third-party AI processing services to perform real-time facial analysis required to deliver the requested video generation features.

Facial data is transmitted only for processing purposes;

Neither Filmit AI nor its third-party service providers store facial data after processing is completed;

Facial data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics providers.

All processing occurs in secure server environments with industry-standard safeguards.

4.4 Face Data Retention Period

Facial data is processed temporarily and in real time.

Facial data is discarded immediately after the requested video generation task is completed;

Filmit AI does not retain facial data beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the requested feature;

No long-term storage or reuse of facial data occurs.

If a user deletes their account, any remaining associated data will be deleted or anonymized in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

Attempt to access, reverse engineer, or extract the app’s source code or underlying AI models;
Use Filmit AI for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose;
Interfere with or disrupt the functionality, security, or integrity of the app or its services.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Filmit AI at any time if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms or applicable laws.

7. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Filmit AI after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
